Ambhe Ferro has formed long term relationships with several brokers and traders to effectively serve the customers. The Indian engineering-steel trade — local traders, brokers, merchant exporters — sits between manufacturers and the long tail of small and mid-sized end-users that no rolling mill can directly service efficiently. Traders earn that position by doing things that a mill cannot do as well from the mill side:
- Personal service in their region.
- Source Hard to Get Material which cannot be effectively produced by major manufacturers
- Logistics, credit, and after-sales handling.
- Traders know which consumer needs 3 MT this week and 6 MT next month, and ship it from local stock.
- Mills batch production by grade and size. Traders carry the in-between sizes that mills do not roll on demand.
