ROLLING TOLERANCES
Width
- up to 50 mm: ± 1 mm
- 50 mm to 75 mm: ± 1.5 mm
- 75 mm to 100 mm: ± 2 mm
- 100 mm and above ± 2%
- and maximum not exceding 6 mm
Thickness
- up to 12 mm: ± 0.5 mm
- over 12 mm: 4% and max not exceeding 1.5 mm
- Providing steels in lengths required, so that wastage is minimised Etc
Sectional weight Length
- Up to 3 mm thick: +5/-3%
- Over 3 mm : ± 5% For fixed length : ± 100 mm
