1. Who we are

Ambhe Ferro Metal Processors Private Limited (CIN U27100MH1987PTC043960), registered office at 1214–1216, The Epicentre, Best Colony, near Shivaji Chowk, Chembur (East), Mumbai 400071, Maharashtra (“Ambhe”, “we”, “us”).

We decide why and how your personal data is used. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are therefore the Data Fiduciary, and you are the Data Principal.

This policy covers:

• our websites: ambhe.com, en1a.com, en1apb.com, en8d.com, en8m.com, 35c8.com, 45c8.com, 42crmo4.com and 1018steel.com
• enquiries you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp

We make and supply steel to businesses. Most of the personal data we handle is the business contact details of people at our customers and suppliers.

2. Personal data we collect

• Name, company, designation, work email, mobile number and city, when you email, call or WhatsApp us with an enquiry or request for quotation
• Billing and delivery address, GSTIN and purchase order details, when your company places an order with us
• WhatsApp number and messages, when you message us or agree to receive updates on WhatsApp
• Email address, when you agree to receive stock or price updates
• IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time of visit, automatically when you visit our websites
• Analytics cookie identifiers, only after you click Allow Cookies on the cookie banner

We do not ask for Aadhaar, bank account details, or health or other sensitive data through our websites.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and send a quotation. We rely on your consent, given when you contact us.
• To process, invoice and dispatch orders and keep statutory records. We rely on performing the order and on complying with GST and company law.
• To send stock, price and rolling-schedule updates by email or WhatsApp. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (section 7).
• To keep our websites secure and fix errors, using IP addresses, browser data and server logs.
• To understand which pages are useful, and to measure and improve our advertising (Google signals), using analytics cookies. We rely on your consent through the cookie banner.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for any purpose not listed here.

4. Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choice (ambhe_cookie_consent). They do not need consent.

Analytics and advertising cookies come from Google Analytics 4 with Google signals. They are set only if you click Allow Cookies on the cookie banner. Until then, Google Analytics runs in a mode that stores no cookies on your device.

To change your choice, clear the cookies for our site in your browser. The banner will then appear again.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it for us, and only for the purposes above:

• website hosting, content delivery and security providers
• Google Analytics 4 with Google signals, for analytics and advertising measurement. If you accept cookies and are signed in to a Google account that allows ad personalisation, Google may link your visit to that account for cross-device reports and advertising. You can control this at myadcenter.google.com. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
• email and office software providers
• customer-record (CRM) and email-campaign providers
• WhatsApp Business messaging providers
• transporters, who receive only the delivery details needed to dispatch your order

Some of these providers may store or process data outside India. This is subject to any restrictions the Government of India notifies.

We also disclose personal data to courts, regulators or law enforcement when the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for any longer period that tax, company or other law requires. If you withdraw consent to receive updates, we keep your details on a do-not-contact list so that we do not message you again.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with
• correct, complete or update it
• erase it, unless a law requires us to keep it
• stop sending you updates. You can also withdraw consent directly: reply STOP on WhatsApp, or use the unsubscribe link in our emails.
• name another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to do so

To make a request, write to sales@ambhe.com (subject line: “Privacy request”) from the email address or mobile number you gave us. We may ask you to confirm it is you.

If you withdraw consent, we stop the processing that depended on it. This does not affect anything done before you withdrew.

We acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and resolve them within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Security

We protect personal data with HTTPS on all our websites, named user accounts with access limited to staff who need the data, endpoint protection on office computers, and regular backups.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Children

Our websites are meant for businesses and not for anyone under 18. If we learn that we hold a child’s personal data without a parent’s consent, we will delete it.

11. Language

To read this policy in Marathi, Hindi or any other language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India, write to sales@ambhe.com (subject line: “Privacy request”).

12. Links to other websites

Our websites link to some other websites. We are not responsible for how they handle personal data. Please read their privacy policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you gave us with your consent, we will tell you directly.
