1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

These Terms of Use apply to the websites run by Ambhe Ferro Metal Processors Private Limited (CIN U27100MH1987PTC043960), registered office at 1214–1216, The Epicentre, Best Colony, near Shivaji Chowk, Chembur (East), Mumbai 400071, Maharashtra (“Ambhe”, “we”, “us”). 2. Changes

We may change these Terms. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the date at the top. The version in force on the day you use the Websites is the one that applies.

3. Using the Websites

You may read, print and download pages for your own business use, such as evaluating a grade or preparing an enquiry.

You must not:

use the Websites for anything unlawful
try to break into, overload or disrupt the Websites or the servers they run on
pretend to be someone else, or misstate your connection with a company
send us anything unlawful, defamatory, abusive or that infringes someone else’s rights

When you send us an enquiry, drawing or specification by email, phone or WhatsApp, the information must be accurate and yours to share.

4. Orders, prices and returns

The Websites give information about Ambhe and our products. Nothing on them is an offer to sell. Grades, sizes, stock, prices and lead times shown are indicative and may change without notice.

A contract is formed only when we confirm your order in writing or issue a pro-forma invoice. Every quotation, order, supply and return is governed by our Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale together with our quotation or invoice. If these Terms of Use and the Sales Terms differ, the Sales Terms apply.

5. Our content and trade names

The text, tables, drawings, photographs, videos and logos on the Websites belong to Ambhe or are used with permission, and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other laws. Apart from the use allowed in section 3, you may not copy, republish, sell or build a database from our content without our written permission. Quoting a short extract with a link back to the page is fine.

Grade and standard designations such as SAE, AISI, ASTM, DIN, EN, JIS and IS belong to their respective owners. We use them only to describe our products.

6. Search engines, AI tools and scraping

Search engines may index the Websites, and AI search and answer tools may read them to answer users’ questions and cite us, as set out in our robots.txt file.

Without our written permission, you may not:

use content from the Websites to train or fine-tune an AI or machine-learning model
use bots or scripts to copy the Websites in bulk, or to extract our data tables, contact details or price information into a database or another website

7. Accuracy of information

We take care over the information on the Websites, but it is general information and not a specification. Please read our Disclaimer. The grade, dimensions and properties you are entitled to are those agreed in your order and shown in the test certificate for that supply.

The Websites are provided “as is”. We do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors or viruses. This does not affect any warranty in our Sales Terms or your order.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Ambhe is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Websites, including loss of profit, business, data or goodwill. Our liability for products we supply is governed by the Sales Terms and your order, not by these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

You agree to make good any loss, claim or cost (including reasonable advocates’ fees) that Ambhe suffers because you broke these Terms or misused the Websites.

9. Links to other websites

The Websites link to some other websites, including industry bodies and standards organisations. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your data. A link does not mean we endorse the site.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

11. Law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about the Websites. Disputes about an order are dealt with as set out in the Sales Terms.

12. General

If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
